I know they’re coming. Don’t know when, but sometime over the next few weeks I’ll have to deal with “I don’t understand”s all over again.
Although it’s encouraging to once again feel some degree of motivation towards painting, I cannot help but wonder whether this is a step forwards or backwards.
Four years, twelve journals, thousands of drawings and paintings, two breakdowns, many long-winded essays and a preternatural quantity of coffee later…I bid farewell to Bromsgrove. It’s been kind to me, over the years. Unlike myself.
